The Lucky Strike Gold and Gem Mine

We are open to the public all year except DEC 25.

The Lucky Strike Campground

The Lucky Strike Gold and Gem Mine offers a family-friendly campground, located on the serene Second Broad River, and is open all year round except for December 25th. The campground boasts 59 campsites, with 36 featuring full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. The remaining 23 sites offer electric and water, and a dump station is available for your convenience. We have a primitive area located between the Second Broad River and the pond. It does not include water, electric or sewer but is situated very close to the shower house. The shower house is equipped with ample hot water and is perfect for warming up after a refreshing gold-panning session in the cool river that runs alongside select campsites. Long-term campsites are currently limited, so early reservations are encouraged for those interested in an extended stay. The Lucky Strike campground fosters a welcoming environment, with a strong sense of camaraderie among regular campers. Enjoy weekly live music on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm at The Lucky Strike Clubhouse. Pull-thru sites/full hookup for $50 per night. Full-service hookup rates are set at $40 per night, electric and water sites are available for $30 per night, and the primitive sites are $25 per night. We offer a discounted weekly rate for campsites and lodging.

Campers staying with us can take advantage of gold panning or gem screening in the river at no extra charge, using their own gold pan or sluice box. If needed, a sluice box is available for $10.00 a day. Embrace the great outdoors and create memorable experiences at the Lucky Strike Gold and Gem Mine campground.
